Latitude 28 is a family-owned and family-run business. Matt runs his business with military precision and a keen eye for quality workmanship. He enjoys the fact that each job has its own intricacies, whether it’s a light switch or solar system install - Electrical work requires precision, a clear plan and efficient execution.
Working with residential and commercial clients-alike, no day is ‘just another day at work’ with Latitude 28 Electrical and Solar. Matt enjoys spending the day solving problems while providing and actioning solutions to a range of electrical projects.
You can trust us to be upfront about offering alternatives, pointing out concerns with customers’ requests, and suggesting more effective and/or more aesthetic options.
Meet Matthew
"I successfully completed my apprenticeship at the beginning of 2017 as an electrical contractor and started Latitude 28 Electrical and Solar in March 2018. I’m a Master Electrician and have completed work domestically and commercially as well as installed both small and large-scale solar systems.
I started my apprenticeship with City of Gold Coast in the water and sewerage division before completing my apprenticeship in the domestic field under RJ Beaufils & Son.
I’m a keen cyclist, both road and mountain and I try to push myself with running and training for events. I also love renovating the house and yard and having bonfires with my fiancée and two kids. I spent 6 years in the Australian Army including one deployment to the Middle East, after which I decided to dive into the electrical trade."
